ISPM No 15
I am knowledgeable in D-01-05 and will write your quality manuals for SWP and train your Staff
In March 2002, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) adopted the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures on Wood Packaging (ISPM No. 15), entitled Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade. The guidelines outline the requirements for a harmonized standard for protection from the introduction of invasive plant pests. The standard details the minimum mandatory treatment requirements and a wood packaging marking system, as agreed by the IPPC membership, for the export of wood packaging materials constructed from non-manufactured wood (softwood and hardwood) from countries around the world. The Commission on Phytosanitary Measures adopted a revised ISPM No. 15 in April 2009 in an effort to clarify outstanding issues regarding the movement of wood packaging internationally.
In 2005, I assisted the Canadian Food Inspection Agency-Forestry Division, to write the Canadian Wood Packaging Certification Program [CWPCP]. I was the first program manager for the CWPCP from 2006-2009.
I understand the Canadian Wood Packaging Certification Program-ISPM No. 15 Revision September 2011. I have developed specific quality manuals for solid wood packaging as well as a quality manual for the use of HT chambers for companies already in the program along with interested companies who require the Canadian Wood Packaging Certification Program-ISPM No. 15. I offer quality manuals as well the training of your employees on the CWPCP policy directive.
Contact me about this and I will make an appointment with you to show you how you can do it.
